ESSEX SQUASH RACKETS ASSOCIATION

In conjunction with Sponsor MILLANE CONTRACT SERVICES Ltd ran the

Essex County Closed Racketball Championships

at Club Kingswood

  30th September & 1st October 2006

The 2006 Essex Closed Racketball Championships sponsored by Millanes, were held at Club Kingswood in Basildon on Sunday. Local boy and Kingswood's own Scott Legg (pic below) became Essex Rackeball champion for 2006 beating Mark Thornley from Woodford Wells in a grueling final. Lauren Selby from Lexdon raised the cup for the ladies beating Zoe Merry in a tough 5 setter and the men's over 55's was won by Kingswoods Tony Hart, (who was national over 45's champion in 2004). Final results are shown below, many thanks to our sponsor Dave Millane, club Kingswood for hosting the event, and all those who took part or just came to watch.
